What is Therapy
Regardless of our age, life can be incredibly overwhelming at times. Whether you're 2 or 92, there are going to be times that feel especially ineffable. We have helped many clients of all ages work through a variety of challenges. Whether it be life changes, anxiety, depression, grief, stress management, addiction recovery or any number of other situations, we are there to help you through.
We believe that therapy is incredibly personal and we don't take that lightly. Our team works to create a treatment plan together with you, to ensure that your needs are thoroughly addressed. Often in life, we can feel alone and that we are carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders. You are not alone, we are here to help. Whether you are a parent seeking play therapy for your child, or an adult seeking therapy for yourself, we are happy to work with all ages.
Teletherapy is regular therapy administered via video call from the location of the client's choosing. Many clients prefer teletherapy to an in person meeting with a counselor.
Some people are unable to leave their homes, while others prefer the convenience. Home visits are available upon request and are typically a more concierge approach to therapy.
Expressive Arts Therapy
Expressive Arts allows the client to look at their hurdles and mental blocks in a more abstract form. It can also help the client develop new and healthy coping skills.
Sand Tray Therapy
A form of therapy utilizing a tray of sand and miniatures. It allows the client the freedom to process subconscious issues that they may otherwise struggle to verbalize.
Prior to the age of 10, play is a child's primary language. Through play therapy, children can process their experiences and find healing.
Through Christian Counseling, clients are able to incorporate scripture and their faith system into their healing.
Parenting is difficult and at times parents need guidance from a nonjudgemental and unbiased source. Therapists desire clients to develop consistency and a behavioral plan to help address issues within the child's home and/or school environment.
Addiction is very prevalent in society today and it can come in a variety of forms. It may be drugs, alcohol, technology or behaviors displayed in mental or physical capacities. Therapist's help clients identify addictive and life controlling issues and implement effective life changes to help them find healing.
